The 3 mile road to the parking area is long and rough. Keep on it because despite what travelers tend to think, there is a parking area at the end.
Follow the trail half a mile straight towards the swimming hole!
This is one of Virginia's most popular swimming holes. Take caution swimming in the water as both times I have been here I have seen a snake swimming around. With that being said, I've never heard of any tragic stories of someone getting bit by one so don't let that scare you away! Grab some friends and head out to this mini waterfall for a great time.
